My classroom is a dynamic blended learning environment that offers students frequent opportunities to think critically, utilize technology, and to move. I'd like the furniture to further support student learning by offering them voice and choice in how and where they work. I want this classroom to be a home away from home for my students, while also offering a variety of seating options for each student's learning style. The futon would allow those without a quiet place at home to work in cozy comfort. The Stability balls will support those who need some proprioceptive input, while the bar stools will allow students to feel as though they're learning in a hip cafe. These options will support the kind of 21st century collaborative learning we usually do in our room while meeting students' needs.
