These materials will allow my students to feel a greater level of comfort, accessibility, and choice in my English Language Arts classroom. Many of my students have experienced a great deal of failure throughout their academic careers because they have not fit into the "one size fits all" approach. My goal is to normalize the idea for students that people learn in different ways, and that this should be celebrated! By creating a more welcoming environment that addresses my students' needs in various ways and gives them options of flexible seating in the classroom - such as wobble stools, floor cushions, and flex bands - students will be able to choose what works best for them in order to achieve more academic success.
