I was lucky enough to win an awesome Hovercam Centerstage for my classroom. It is an awesome screen that allows for interactive presentations. However, this tool is really inefficient without this Hovercam Pilot 3 Podium to use an an accessory. This tool will allow students to practice real world technology enhanced presentations which are essential to be successful Lin practically an job market. As districts move into “Schools of Innovation” students are given more project based learning opportunities. This equipment will allow students to demonstrate acquired skills to the class, present projects, make annotations to documents, scan documents, take photos, and record presentations to analyze projects. It will allow them to conduct video conferences as well with entrepreneurs and businesses around the state. These are all skills that mimic entrepreneurs in the workplace. The skills students acquire when completing projects that require technology and high level problem solving prepares them as career ready individuals.
