Middle school kids need to be challenged. They need to explore. They need to practice communication skills (don't we all sometimes?). These Breakout EDU kits will allow me to create engaging activities the kids can work on to achieve these goals. Additionally, teachers in the building can utilize these resources as well and create Breakouts connected to classroom learning and curriculum goals. Materials in the Media Center are meant to be shared with all patrons, teachers and students alike. If this project is funded I won't be the only user - every student and every teacher at our school will have an opportunity to engage with the kits.
