My students have autism and multiple disabilities including seizure disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, visual impairments, deaf, blindness, congenital syndromes, sensory impairments, and intellectual disabilities and they require special care and attention in the classroom to achieve their learning goals. The humidifier that I am requesting will help the students breathe clean air. The clean air that they will breathe will help them get focused on their task. However, too much heat in the winter or in the summer time can set off the students and may lead to behaviors that can disrupt classroom environment. The humidifier will help address the students' needs and may lead them to improve their focus and attention when they perform classroom tasks. This appliance will help them function well in the classroom and will give them comfort that they deserve to have to reach their academic, communication, socialization goals, motor skills goals, coordination, and balance skills goals.
