The AlphaBetter Desk will allow my students to both stand and fidget, with its unique swinging pendulum footrest bar. It is also height-adjustable and durably designed to withstand continual student use. These features aid in movement and learning, while increasing students’ engagement and promoting an “active classroom” environment. My students can work around a standing desk during collaborative work time as well. It's a nice change from sitting, and having a desk at chest height can help with good conversations and discussions. By not having to be as stationary, and getting to move their legs and body more while they work, they are then able to focus more on the tasks at hand.
