All children need to move. This is true even when they are learning and in an academic environment. I want to transform my classroom to allow my students to be able to wiggle, move, get comfortable and have choices while they are learning. I will create a flexible seating environment that will allow students to choose their seating. They may need to wiggle on the WOBBLE stool, use a balance disk to move around in a chair, or get comfy in a bean bag chair. They could lay down on the rug with a great book or use a clip board while in the couch. When children can move and be comfortable they are able to be academic learners. By donating to this project, you will not only help our children to move, increase student attention and focus, you will be investing in their academic achievement and overall success! Students will enjoy their time learning. They will be able to focus on the task at hand instead of trying to get comfortable. This will allow them to be more productive and get the most out of their education. I feel that all student deserve this opportunity and I would like to start with the 40-50 students I teach every year.
