Flexible seating is an excellent option to support my students' learning and growth. As I teach American Literature, AP English, English 12, Creative Writing, Journalism/Yearbook, and Speech and Debate, our classroom is a place of diverse studies, diligence, learning, and growth. Flexible seating will provide students an opportunity to exercise autonomy, thus increasing engagement and higher-level thinking. Additionally, flexible seating will provide student benefits via the following means: comfort, community, collaboration, and enjoyment/fun.
