I want my students to be able to escape their daily lives and go on adventures through their books. I asked for books about becoming an artist, architect, scientist and so much more. I want my students to be able to envision themselves becoming anything that they wish to be through these books. I want them to be caught up in the experience of a good book and not be so focused on reading for work. I have chosen different books for a variety of different levels and interests. I asked for a couple of rocker chairs because sometimes reading in a boring classroom chair is dull and these new chairs will help add adventure. My dream is to sit down and have my students tell me about the adventures they have gone on through the reading of different stories. I have loved reading since I was a young girl and I want to help my students find a love for reading!
