I have the privilege of teaching a diverse group of hard working, intelligent, and talented third graders. They bring a wide range of academic and social experiences to the classroom every day, and the cultural differences and backgrounds help to enrich the educational experience for everyone. Many of them are immigrants and are the only members of their family who speak English. The majority of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch, and many do not have access to grade-level books at home. With the help of your donation, students will now have the opportunity to read books that they are interested in.
