My kindergarten students have been learning virtually all year. Most of them have been able to learn all of their letters and sounds while a few of them are still struggling. Some students are also struggling with math concepts without having the hands-on materials available. Giving my struggling students the opportunity to use tactile materials will help them grow and make connections in their learning. The students will be able to feel the letters and numbers as they trace them. This will help to make connections in their memory.
