As the School Social Worker, I work hard to make sure that my students get the proper resources that they need both inside and outside of school. Many students come to me for basic needs such as hygiene products. I am requesting a supply of baby wipes, deodorant, lotion, hand sanitizer, wash cloths, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash to have for my students. They are most appreciative when we set aside time to focus on study skills and extra support. Seeing them smile because their needs have been met means a lot. These materials will make a difference for my students as they go throughout their daily lives growing and learning. We have a lot of students who parents are low-income working parents or single people struggling to get by.
