More than half of our students come from low income homes. Our school lost its robotics program years ago due to lack of funding. Seventh grade science teachers are working to bring it back, but the kits we inherited are old and missing parts. We have been enhancing the equipment as we can, but as funding is still scarce, it has been slow going. A MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Core Set could really help jump start the program. It could help us to revitalize our existing kits and enhance student learning and enthusiasm for learning technology and engineering in our district.
