All students love hands-on learning and what better way to finish the school year and our physical science unit then by shooting off rockets. This is a yearly tradition at our school. Fourth grade students get to build and shoot off their model rockets in front of the whole school. So many leading factors to this unit make this experience so much fun. Students will use the model rocket that were asked for to build and assemble as they see fit. Modifications need to be justified by the topics that we have learned in science. Once they are happy with their construction we will shoot them off and see how they do.
