The Chromebooks that I am requesting for my 6th grade science classes are extremely important in implementing the Next Generation Science Standards–where research is a vital tool in discovering the scientific world. The Chromebooks will open the doors for students to explore during class, laboratory assignments, and research projects. With your help, my science class will be able to investigate the internet and use great educational tools such as Google classroom, Prezi, Quizlet and so much more. Your generosity will give my inner city students the tools they need to succeed. The Chromebooks are also extremely important for my First LEGO robotics teams. This was our rookie year, and our team had to beg, borrow, and plead for a couple of laptops. With your generous gift, the Humanoids and Alienators, (our team names)will be able to have the ability to use the Chromebooks for the LEGO Mindstorm programming and research projects during the competition season.
