I serve students where a majority of the students are from Africa, the Dominican Republic, and African American. Our school is the first Eco-friendly school in our area, where we take pride in preserving Earth's natural resources. Many students speak a primary language other than English, and many of them face a disadvantage with some of the work because they are trying to acquire a new language and the conceptual outcome of a specific discipline. I know that with technology infused in my daily teachings and practices, the students will perform increasingly well and most importantly become engaged with the learning. I hope that the donor or donors who choose to support this effort, not only supports the students, but their ability to outperform those whose said they couldn't.
