The winters are very long and cold in New Jersey. This causes our classroom floor to be very chilly and uncomfortable. A large classroom rug could solve our problem! By donating to this project, you would help to make learning time much more comfortable for 25 students. The carpet would be utilized every single day of the school year. My fifth graders come to the floor for each subject so they can easily see the board, collaborate with peers, and read. Comfortable learning and reading time will lead them to be more focused and engaged on the learning task at hand.

About my class
