The resources from these books will be used throughout the year to get these students excited about applying math and science to hands-on activities. These projects are theme based throughout seasons and holidays and will help me move away from the traditional textbook environment to one that students may not even realize they are "learning" in. They will learn how math can be used in the real world without having to rely heavily on skills they may feel weak in. Stem days in the classroom will have students looking forward to class and have me looking forward to seeing their creativity truly shine.
