Inquisitive. Eager. Diverse. These are just some of the words used to describe my group of students at a Title 1 school in North Carolina. With each new year comes a fresh start to motivate students to set goals and achieve them through real-world exploration and hands-on learning. These sponges readily soak up the answers to many questions that they investigate about the world around them. However, many students come to school with limited background experiences that can make learning new things and arriving to answers challenging. One way to level the playing field is to help provide them with experiences through the use of technology.
