The Percy Jackson and Greek Myths books will give my students the opportunity to fly into a world they never knew existed! They will learn about Greek mythology and the meaning behind Greek root words. Most importantly these books will offer my students an educational escape from their daily lives. They will become heroes who face a challenges and defeat the Titans all from the comfort of a classroom; THEY will learn how to fluently read a story to find the joy in visualization! It has always been my hope that my students will WANT to pick up a book because they can learn and feel something new; this is the opportunity to make that happen.
