In the day and age of computer technology, schools are struggling to keep up with the trends in education-using technology to enhance what we teach and how we teach. Having an ipad for students would help me to meet the needs of my diverse student population. I could tailor programs to each individual student’s academic strengths and weaknesses. We could pursue student's interests and motivations and have access to a multitude of educational resources such as-podcasts, digital libraries, online textbooks, ebooks and games. I could also use the ipad as a digital resources to keep electronic grade books, digital portfolios, and track and monitor student progress. It would also give us the ability to edit and access google classroom from anywhere.
