A school library is only as good as the books in its collection, this is why I am requesting books to add to our shelves. My goal is to stock our school library shelves with curriculum based reading materials for all of the students at Pacifoc Avenue Academy of Music. When a student finds and reads a story they enjoy they come back for more. A library should never stop adding to its collection of quality and current reading materials. I am always on the hunt for books that will engage students; books that create conversations, books with a social message, books that will teach them about the world and about themselves. I create lists of books that I know our students will love, but the only thing stopping those books from reaching PAAM students is money.
