My students have all been diagnosed with Autism. Some are verbal, some non-verbal. We are currently implementing an ABA verbal behavior program to help with communication skills. My students love technology. They would be ecstatic to have iPads strictly for use in our classroom. There is an app, specific to Apple products, that goes along with all of the activities and tasks in the classroom. They would no longer have to share with the rest of the school and would benefit from being able to use them all day, every day. Please consider helping this group of eight AMAZING students that work hard everyday at not only academic tasks, but at daily living skills that will help them become more independent as they grow!
