Most of my students are interested in playing games on their computers, so I want to incorporate silent sustained reading each day in my class. We call it DEAR: drop everything and read! Therefore I will need a well-stocked classroom library. I am also looking to get resources to teach vocabulary spelling and grammar for students who are still working on becoming on-level readers and writers. As a first-year 6th grade English teacher, I am hoping to stock my classroom library with novels that are accessible to all levels of reading and English development of students in my class.
