During our multicultural events, I ideally want students to have the opportunity to display pictures and photos from their own cultural celebrations and home country. In our room, we have the flags from over 200 countries hanging, and my students feel at home when walking in because they feel themselves being represented. Students also have projects and assignments in their other classes that require them to have display boards and having a resource to print out material for that would be helpful. Most students stay after school to catch up on assignments and use our school laptops to complete work, as they do not have access to one at home.
