During this new 2019-2020 school year my dream is to create a positive environment for my Pre-K students. I believe it is important to provide a mindful classroom where they can learn to be present, feel calm, learn how to breathe, be mindful, be able to learn, stay focused and feel happy. My goal is to teach my students various mindfulness activities, breathing strategies, children's literature, music and provide them the opportunity to practice yoga daily doing individual, partner and community yoga poses. To be able to make this dream come true I need help purchasing yoga mats for my 18 students. In addition, I plan to share my strategies and mats with other teachers to help their students become mindful learners.
