This interactive ice cream stand provides students with an opportunity to unleash their imagination. Everyone loves ice cream, especially children. The art of playing pretend is almost lost. Pretending and using our imagination is the foundation to creativity in student speaking and writing. This activity will promote student interaction in both speaking and listening. Teaching tolerance, friendship, and acceptance is a focus in our school and class. Students playing and working cooperatively will work to promote our focus. My classroom is the foundation for students and their future in education. Promoting tolerance and friendship, while having fun, and engaging students develops life skills that will forever be valued.
