My students will benefit so much from these instruments. Using instruments greatly increases understanding of musical notes, rests, and their names. It's extremely hard to teach the same lesson to all students right now, due to lack of a full set of any instrument. Having a full set of drums and boomwhackers, would be so helpful! Right now, I have one actual hand drum, and the rest of the time, the kids are playing on empty coffee creamer cans or making shakers out of empty bottles and change. The bells and triangles may be combined with other instruments, to teach the students how to stay on their own part, and, collaborate with their classmates to make music.
