When our project is funded, I will be able to make communication books for my students to use at school. This will give them a voice, and allow them some control in making choices for themselves. it will also allow them to interact with the staff and students in their learning environments and for us to carry these skills into the home. For example, we need to make pictures to represent highly reinforcing items and this takes a strong high-quality printer, ink, and lamination so their little fingers do not tear the paper. Again, imagine your life without communication.
