Like most schools, since the pandemic we have seen an increase in a need to promote and support social emotional learning. I am so proud of our school does to promote SEL- we deliver weekly social emotional learning lessons in advisory, we utilize restorative practices, we have an strong positive behavior intervention system, and we try to provide many options for kids to be kids, such as outdoor lunch passes, incentive days, a prize cart, dances, and more. We also run a Kindness Club to promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. Donor's Choose helps us to acquire materials we need to facilitate activities to engage students in to build their empathy, confidence, and resilience.

About my class
