From the first day of kindergarten, I focus on building a classroom that functions with a growth mindset. My 24 eager students learn to see beauty in mistakes, preserve through challenges and be mindful of what they need to stay calm and focused as learners. My students attend kindergarten in Woodbury, MN at a school nestled among their neighborhoods. They bring with them a passion for understanding and a desire to know more. They have a variety of cultural backgrounds and life experiences which makes us a unique bunch! Everyday our curious and creative minds inquire and discover new things. We use our careful hands, though small, to construct inventions and write ideas! We practice careful listening and share so we can help each other solve problems. Our classroom is a happy learning space!
