This event will celebrate college acceptances. I have spent this past year working with seniors to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to enroll in college. Many of my seniors, who have applied to a university or community college, do not have some of the items listed in this project such as the HP 14 inch stream laptop, Powerbeats 3, Canon MX492 Wireless Printer, lunch bag, laptop bag, laptop, and shower caddy. They have worked so hard thus far, and we want to respond to their hard effort! As such, on Thursday, May 31, 2018, we will be holding our third annual event called “Decision Day." This event will promote the college-going culture on campus in addition to celebrating the seniors’ journey through college admissions. This year’s theme is “Oh! the Places You’ll Go!” to reflect all the possibilities that will open up as they are in college, and encouraging them to explore and discover themselves and their surroundings.
