My students need more chairs with a variable range of motion. Little bodies need lots of movement during the day! Students love to tip their chairs backwards and sidewards, no matter what kind of seat they are in. But this isn't always easy or safe! With reduced recess times over the years, and an increase of stress and anxiety in children's lives, moving around and wiggling is more important that ever. It's a soothing, intuitive experience for young students. Your donation will fulfill not only my dream but that of my young students, one of whom recently left this sticky note on my computer, "Please get wubl stools!" With the addition of wobble stools in my classroom, I can continue to provide a more developmentally appropriate experience for my students as they try to focus and do their best throughout the day.
