I miss being in the classroom with my students. Distance learning has led to a dramatic decline in student engagement and participation across the country. Depression and isolation are not only negatively impacting adults, but also our students during these difficult times. Help me brighten my students' days with a motivational postcard and a personal message. When students feel better, they do better. I hope by reaching out to my distance learning students, they and their families will become more involved in online learning. A handwritten note is a little gesture that can have a big impact.
