These ten classroom Chromebooks will be used across all subject areas as a way to deepen student engagement. During writing, students will use the Chromebooks to conduct online research and type papers. Students will use the Chromebooks during our math station to challenge their mathematical understanding through programs such as iReady and Prodigy. These programs allow for differentiated learning which will enable students to work at their own pace and on their own level. In addition, students will use the Chromebooks during ELA by practicing their spelling words on SpellingCity and playing educational games that deepen their understanding of correct grammar usage. Through the use of programs like iReady, students will also have access to reading passages and comprehension questions that will correlate with the standards being taught in the classroom. Let's face it, we are living in a technological world! My 3rd grade students thrive when information is presented to them through technology. By donating to our project you will be providing students with the resources they need to be successful 21st century learners as they prepare for 21st century careers!
