Two days a week, students volunteer to make and sell popcorn to the students and staff at school. Two weeks ago the machine that we have used for over 10 years broke. There are no funds available in our district or our school building to purchase a new one, we've tried! and without a new machine, our students cannot continue The money the students raise through selling popcorn directly funds student projects, field trips, and an all expense paid safe and fun prom night for students of all abilities in the community. The prom night is free of cost to students down to their gowns and shoes. Students have created a Service Learning project to benefit their classmates as well as support local community charities.
