"Teacher, I keep getting confused between what my computer is saying and everyone else's!" This is a daily complaint. I LOVE that my class is fortunate enough to have a class set of Chrome Books. However, 30 Chrome Books and 6 sets of headphones does not work well for many activities. More headphones would help balance the noise level, make it easier for students to hear instructions on computer programs, and allow their recordings to be free of the excess background noise. In my class students use several programs that read aloud, speak the questions, or ask students to record reading passages for fluency. It can be difficult for students to concentrate when the whole class is working in these programs without the headphones.
