I plan to increase the level of independant engagement with my art library and exploratory space. These books and creative activities will continue to enhance the learning environment art room that I strive to create. My goal for this project is to create a classroom library; a place where my students can enjoy reading to peers or creating freely. This space will serve as a reward zone for students after they have completed their work. This will keep students engaged and actively learning after their art project is complete. All of these books and items for this space have been chosen with my students in mind. The books in my library cover a wide range of topics from famous artists throughout time to showing mindfulness in our every day lives. Students will be able to choose a book or activity that will add to their experience in art. Help to create a space that can meet the needs of all my students; by creating a place that is comfortable and rich in resources. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and can't wait to see their interests grow! This project will enhance my learning environment and keep students passionate about learning.
