My students will be using problem-solving strategies, questioning, investigating and analyzing critically as they solve a variety of mathematics problems. A class set of calculators will help my students tackle the more advanced problems and allow them to continue developing their skills in mathematics. Many of my students do not have the means to buy a calculator of their own and rely on what is provided at school. With these calculators, students can focus on exploring a variety of concepts without having to do all computations by hand. I would be very appreciative of any donations that would help in purchasing calculators for our classroom.
