Having a Half-Moon shaped small group instruction table will impact how I teach small groups of children. We currently don't have a table like this and so we end up meeting on the rug which is not ideal. Small group instruction and conferencing is an integral teaching method and necessary to meet the levels of all my students. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The design of this table shape will allow me to directly engage with children I'm meeting with, and they will all be facing me which will increase their engagement. I will use it to meet with children for guided reading, phonics, math and writing instruction.
