These new books will make a tremendous impact on these student's learning. It is my first year teaching and we've made it so far through the year with the books previously left in the classroom, but my eager readers are running out of new reading material! These books will help my students continue to grow into better readers and find a love of reading! In book clubs we read the first book from Judy Blume's "Fudge" series and my students loved it and want to read more books from the series! This is the same for Magic Tree House, Ivy and Bean, Ramona, and more! As a class, students came up with titles and characters they were interested in reading. These new books will spark an excitement of reading again and keep students focused and engaged during independent reading.
