This iPad will be shared between a small group of scholars with mild to moderate learning disabilities to give them access to alternative learning applications in a hands-on, engaging manner. The iPad will be used as a resource during learning centers, or as a reward. The availability of learning apps that span across all content areas will benefit the students immensely. For my students where Spanish is their first language, the exposure to apps will allow them to hear new phonemes and words that are new to them, and will present them the opportunity to learn new, high-frequency sight words.

About my class
