My students need to collaborate with each other using different resources and materials. One way I would like to do this is through student videos. I have seen this done in different classroom across America and the results of student growth is amazing. Students are going deeper into their understanding of the concepts. Having a Samsung Galaxy tablet would allow students to record themselves and show their understanding, in a way that is comfortable and less intimidating than standing in front of the class. Students will be using 21st century skills by using multiple ways to show their understanding. They will also show greater understanding of skills by teaching others. Many of my students lack the resources to do these types of projects at home, which is why it is so important for me to provide these opportunities.
