My students visit four differentiated reading centers each day. During the Word Work center, students will use these hands-on literacy activities to practice key skills such as comprehension, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and writing. Offering students engaging, hands-on materials will motivate them to practice foundational literacy skills essential for reading development. These activities include opportunities for students to check their own work, allowing them to be independent learners. This resource will help my students take ownership of their learning and practice concepts they are struggling with. I love that these literacy activities will allow me to further differentiate my literacy instruction to best meet the needs of my diverse learners!
