Hands on manipulatives are imperative for students to become fully engaged in the learning experience. These supplies will be used for small group instruction from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Specifically, the Giant Magnetic Fraction Circles & Bars will be used to help students learn their fractions in a creative and engaging way. As we continue to push the joys of math, I will use the Jumbo Magnetic Multiplication Arrays to teach students their multiplication tables. Hurricane Harvey attempted to deter my students from learning. But with the resilience of my students, we push and push each day to become global learners. As the 2017-2018 school year started, my students were ready for a new year. The storm of the century, Hurricane Harvey, ravished the community. After the clean up of the storm, my students returned to school. Their spirits were depleted but with the help of the school, the students quickly adapted to the new situation. These supplies will continue to put a smile on my students face as well as enhance learning.
