I have set up cozy reading nooks for my students so they can dive into their reading like all reading lovers do. I want to add blue light filters to provide more “learning friendly” lighting. According to Edutopia, “People are more alert and less sleepy when exposed to blue light versus other wavelengths.” These light filters will give the classroom a less "institutional" feel and this warmer feeling will positively impact students’ brains. Think about how you feel when you can cozy up with a good book and without a care in the world! This is my attempt to create that atmosphere for my students.
