We have been using the computer skills to learn about coding/programming using Lego Education WeDo kits. We would like to expand the use computers into other curricular areas, such as Science. We are requesting 5 Simple & Powered Machines Sets to learn specifically about simple machines in Science. How are we using these kits to learn Science? We will be combining our skills of coding/programming to build and make simple machines to learn about the science behind pulleys. Through the kits, we will be able to program our simple machines to create a pulley system of various models. This fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how a machine works will enlighten our perception of real-world machines, such as how a crane works.
