The GT classroom does not have the technology resources to accommodate my students' advanced needs. The current 3 netbooks we have are slow and slow to process their coding activities. The touchscreen laptop will make it easy for my students to take to their independent work station and will have the memory and speed to work with the coding programs. My gifted students have specific areas of deep interest or expertise and having current technology resources will allow them to freely explore and learn. This laptop will be used wisely, and it will help my students do and learn remarkable things through the use of coding, Makerspace, and robotics activities.
