It will be thrilling to help students learn reading strategies using hands-on print magazines designed specifically for children! To teach kids how to read nonfiction materials at their level will propel them forward in academics! Emphasizing the importance of nonfiction reading through engaging, high-interest magazines will encourage students to read more within this expository genre! Teaching students how to read the magazines at school & then allowing students the opportunity to take the magazines home will support students who do not have access to nonfiction reading outside of school. I want to expand students' access to nonfiction print!

About my class
