Hello All! My 9th graders adopted a class pet a couple of months ago. His name, Squirt. His species, Yellow Bellied Slidder. Yes, he is indeed a turtle! We found out Squirt is 11 years old and needs a bigger tank, so that he can continue to grow. Our students love Squirt and want to see him happy AND healthy! We need a tank that is at least 40 gallons to make this happen. With your support we can make Squirt a happy guy! Additionally, students will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of taking care of a pet. We need our students to understand compassion and I believe this project can be a great start.
